Balakrishna assures 9-hour free power for farmers

NTR sons never influenced officers during TDP regime Vijayawada: Film hero Nandamuri Balakrishna here on Sunday promised people that they would give nine-hour free power if the party was voted to power in the next elections. He unveiled the statue of NTR at Kalagara village of Vissannapet mandal in Krishna district on Sunday. He also garlanded the statues of NTR at Nunna and Adivinekkalam on his way to Vissannapet. Speaking on the occasion, Balakrishna regretted that the farmers and people of the State were living in dark conditions due to power cuts. He said that the TD would stand by farmers and give more priority to them. He further said that the family members of NTR never visited the secretariat and never made a single mistake. He said, "We are seven brothers. We never went to the Secretariat and did not get favours from the Government. We never pressurized any IAS and IPS officer for favours". Balakrishna asked the people to know the difference between corrupt leaders and NTR family.
