Hussainsagar to get a major facelift

Hyderabad: The historic Hussainsagar is going to get a major facelift with the State Government focussing to develop it into a tourist attraction.

Principal Secretary MAUD Arvind Kumar, along with a team of officials and project consultants, went around the Hussainsagar on Tuesday morning and discussed steps to be taken towards beautification of the lake. He asked the officials to firm up plans to ensure that all the works are completed by this December. He suggested that improvements should include better upkeep of the existing amenities, ensuring greenery, broad walk, walking paths throughout the lake and LED lighting.
