Hyderabad: Minor girl sexually assaulted by truck driver

HYDERABAD: On Tuesday the Chatrinaka had arrested a truck driver who has allegedly sexually assaulted a minor girl at his house in Jangammet.

As per the Assistant Commissioner of Police (Falaknuma) MA Rasheed, the suspect, Mateen Ali Khan, a truck driver residing at Chatrinaka, had lured the girl, who is aged about seven years, into his house on Saturday and had sexually assaulted her.

The girl later informed about the incident to her parents, who then approached the Chatrinaka police. The police, who filed a case and began investigation, arrested Mateen Ali Khan from his residence.

Mateen was produced before the court and has been remanded under judicial custody.
