A 17-year-old intermediate student was found dead under suspicious circumstances near a canal of Nagarjunasagar project at Ananthagiri mandal in Suryapet district on Wednesday.
Chintala Mohan, a native of Ananthagiri was lying dead in the canal which is connected NSP left canal. The police grew suspicious over his death as they is no water flow in the canal.
The Ananthagiri police rushed to the spot after being alerted by the locals and registered a case. An investigation is underway.
