Kannada film actor Ambarish shifted to Singapore

Bengaluru: The Kannada actor turned politician Ambarish has been shifted to Singapore for intensive treatment early Saturday. It is evident that he has been given treatment at local Vikram hospital in Bengaluru for last one week for some lungs related disease.

On Friday, Randeep Guleria, the specialist doctor from All India Institute of Medical Sciences addressed the media and said Ambarish needs rest for two more weeks. The local doctor Sathish was accompanied with him in his media addressing.

Dr. Guleria said that Ambarish has been improving slowly. However, said Guleria that it will take some more time for him to get well fully. He said that both kidneys and heart have been functioning normally and said nothing was there to worry of his health. He said he will remain back in Bengaluru to give treatment to the veteran actor. Dr. Sathish also told media that Ambarish has been doing well and asked his fans to not believe in the gossips. Three days before, reportedly, Rajanikanth who visited the hospital suggested Suma Latha, spouse of Ambarish, to take him to Mount Elizabeth hospital in Singapore. It is learnt that both Suma Latha and other family members responded positively to the proposal of Rajanikanth.

The Chief Minister of Karnataka Siddaramaiah and Union Minister for health Gulam Nabi Azad were consulted on the very matter. With their request only, Guleria visited the hospital and carried out medical checkups and told that there was no need to take him to Singapore. However, upon a request from the family members, the doctors made everything ready to shift Ambarish to Singapore.
