New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and two others today took oath as member of the New Delhi Municipal Council.
NDMC chairperson Jalaj Srivastava administered the oath of membership to Kejriwal, who then administered the oath to Delhi Cantonment MLA Surinder Singh and Secretary of Directorate of Education Punya Salila Srivastava at a Council meeting here.
According to NDMC Act, MLAs from New Delhi and Delhi Cantonment constituencies automatically become members of the New Delhi Municipal Council.
