Ramgarh (Jharkhand): Seven Maoists, including six operatives of TPC (Tritiya Prastuti Committee), have been arrested from Jharkhand's Ramgarh district.

The police recovered three 315 bore bullets and four mobile phones from the Maoists on Tuesday.

"There were close to eighteen people (involved in the fight in the security agency).We had arrested four people out of them and sent them to judicial custody. Yesterday morning, around 3.00 am, we arrested another six people, from a jungle, the prominent among them being Suraj Prasad and Vicky Prasad. Suraj Prasad was working with the security agency. He used to send the phone numbers of the manager and other officials to their leader Kabir," said Ramgarh Superintendent of Police, Tamil Vaanan.

The Maoists were carrying out tasks as directed by a leader of the outfit, Kabir, when they were nabbed by the police.

Meanwhile, senior operative Rohit Manjhi was arrested in Bokaro, along with a group of young Naxals.

"These people were guerrillas. Rohit Manjhi was arrested. Based on the information provided by him, 62 7.26mm SLR rifles and 2 AK-47s were recovered," said Superindent of Police, Bokaro, Vijayalakshmi.

She added that some more weapons were recovered later, based on the information given by Manjhi.
