Is Amma J Jayalalithaa, an embodiment of God?

The question of why Amma J Jayalalithaa is treated like God by many in Tamil Nadu? If we carefully analyze the faith of people in worshiping Amma J Jayalalithaa as God, we can understand the fact that it is not just ‘cult of personality’ but such ‘faith’ has proven science as well.

When Amma J Jayalalithaa implemented several path breaking pro-poor schemes, naturally all those beneficiaries of various welfare schemes of Amma, bounds to have gratitude for her. This is only one of the facts. But when a rude judgment came against her, the entire state of Tamil Nadu got shaken up and majority of people of Tamil Nadu started feeling sad and great injustice has happened to them and to their state.

The utter helpless situation of people made them to go to temple and prey to God to get justice to Amma. They offered everything they could and prayed sincerely. May be due to the cumulative effect of various facts including the unconditional love and prayers of many, the judgment finally come in favour of Amma.

In fact, the judgment really kindled the spiritual consciousness of people of Tamil Nadu and re-affirmed their faith in God.

Amma J Jayalalithaa assumed the office of Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu when the poor people of Tamil Nadu were helpless and hopeless due to galloping inflation. She brought renaissance and hope in the life of many in Tamil Nadu. She gave a new lease of life to many people in Tamil Nadu and ensured that no economic and social disparity exist in Tamil Nadu.

When such a committed and passionate leader who was working for the cause of poor and downtrodden has to face great injustice, people en mass in Tamil Nadu and various parts of India moved to temple and started praying to God.

Really the God in the imagination of people has proved the God in their real life – Amma J Jayalalithaa innocent. This spiritual awakening and divine act has firmed up their faith and conviction that Amma is not a mere political leader or cult of personality; she is indeed an incarnation of God. To be more precise, Amma J Jayalalithaa is God in human form.

If we look at history, no spiritual leader has kindled the spiritual consciousness of people so effectively like Jesus Christ.

Similarly, not many political leaders besides uplifting the life of downtrodden also have shown spiritual path, brought moral value and affirmed their faith in God when they were utterly helpless and hopeless and proved that praying to God sincerely for the overall welfare of the state and humanity will certainly yield good results.

The political leaders can stay only in the political realm and at the most, can become cult of personality, but cannot become God and remain in the faith and at the being level of people.

We really do not know whether God only has made humans or not. But one thing is sure that man only has made God and in fact due to fear.

But out of love, ever man has made any God? Amma J Jayalalithaa is the best example for love, worship, gratitude, faith and hope of people. Amma J Jayalalithaa is indeed an embodiment of God.
