Suspected NDFB(S) militants had planted the powerful IED weighing five kilograms under a culvert near Dhekiajuli in the north Assam district.

Sonitpur district SP Sanjukta Parashar said that, army bomb squad team had later defused the IED.

Police has investigated on the entire matter and launched operation to nab the suspected militants in the area.
