India enacted the Whistleblowers Protection Act, 2014, to make a disclosure against a public servant, in relation to an act of corruption, wilful misuse of power or indiscretion, or criminal offence. The Whistleblowers Protection (Amendment) Bill, 2015 prohibits disclosure if it relates to 10 categories of information. Table 1 comparesthe exemption provisions across different jurisdictions.
