Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday urged the people to spend time at the 'Shauryanjali' exhibition set up by the Army as part of the golden jubilee commemoration of the 1965 India-Pakistan war.

"I had spent a lot of time with armed personnel at Shauryanjali. I was supposed to be there for 30 minutes but spent much more than that," said Prime Minister Modi while addressing the nation in the 12th edition of his ' Mann Ki Baat' programme.

'History was recreated at Shauryanjali. We have always heard about the valour of our forces," he added.

The exhibition being held on the Rajpath lawns, was scheduled to end on September 20, but has been extended for two more days after the event received a huge turnout.
