Cooch Behar (West Bengal) : After the death of two persons, another passenger identified as 56-year-old Rabina Khatun died in Rajendranagar Express while she was coming from Tinsukia to her hometown in Chhapra in Bihar's Saran district.

The train was running late by around six hours and the lady started suffering from cardiac problem when the train was in between Kokrajhar and Alipurduar Junctions.

The railway authorities failed to provide any medical assistance to the patient in the train. However, the doctors were called when the train reached the Alipurduar Junction but they declared her dead.

Today is the fourth day of the rail roko agitation by the Greater Cooch Behar People's Association (GCPA), demanding a separate state of Greater Cooch Behar.

Meanwhile, the Eastern Railway cancelled four major trains connecting Kolkata and rest of India to north Bengal and Assam due to the obstruction at New Cooch Behar in Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) jurisdiction.

A total of 41 trains, including Up Howrah-Dibrugarh Kamrup Express, Up Howrah-Guwahati Saraighat Express, Up Sealdah - New Alipurduar Teesta Torsa Express and Up Sealdah-New Cooch Behar Uttarbanga Express, stand cancelled today.

The GCPA demands include creation of a greater Cooch Behar state or a Union Territory carved out from parts of north Bengal and some districts of Assam.
