The Maharashtra government has been asked to reply about its stand on women entry into Shani Shignapur temple in two days. The High Court has ordered the state to give protection to women's entry in such places. Hearing the plea filed by activist Trupti Desai, it said, "Collector should be ordered to provide protection.
