A new survey has shown that there are certain words that attract two people towards each other as well as repel them while dating online.

According to a research by eHarmony, data of 12,000 online dating members was taken, where the number of communication requests received by users were analysed to narrow down the most common words and descriptions, News.com.au.
Words like perceptive, physically fit, passionate, intelligent and ambitious were top scorers for men, and women who are "sweet", "funny", "ambitious", "thoughtful", "easy-going" attract more men.
Meanwhile, males who describe themselves as "quiet", "energetic", "respectful", "modest", "kind", repel women, and females who are "spiritual", "quiet", "romantic", "good listener", "rational", are a turn off for men.
