The noose is tightening round defamed cricketer, S Sreesanth. With every passing hour throwing up one setback or the other, he is in deep trouble. This is even as his custody has been extended by another five days.

The latest is that the spot-fixing accused has firmed up post-retirement life that, ironically, revolves around the sport but in a dubious way.

Sources indicated that Sreesanth wanted to establish betting houses across India and abroad. Police officials probing the fixing scandals are reportedly in possession of incriminating documents that indicate that Sreesanth had set up S36 Sports & Entertainment, headquartered in Bangalore in September 2010.

The company, with Sreesanth having 74% stake, was established for coaching and in-house provision for ultra-modern gymnasiums. Police assert that training was a cover up to the actual purpose, which was full-fledged betting.
