All SSC-affair for Bison Cup

Hyderabad: Suneendra Sports Corporation promoted ‘SSC Black’ and ‘SSC Green’ teams will battle it out for eventual honours for the Bison Cup in the ongoing Hyderabad Polo Season at the Bison Polo Ground. In the first semi-final here on Tuesday, SSC Green defeated Forces with a clear 7-4 goal-margins.

Displaying awesome form, Abhimanyu Pathak struck all the seven goals for the winners while Vijay Singh scored a brace for Forces and Major Jaideep Singh and C M Singh chipped in with a goal each. In the second semi-final, the Black outfit put it across HPRC 6-3 goals. It was once again, a solo show by Dhruvpal Godara, who scored all the six 6 goals. Tarun Bilwal’s double strike and a third by Khader Siddique reduced the margin.
