The most awaited three-match T20I series between India and Australia is set to start today, the rivalries are set to lock horns at the Gabba, Brisbane. The Virat Kohli-led Indian Team, who performed impressively at the Asia Cup 2018, which was followed by victory against West Indies, will look forward to carrying their best to overtake Australian team.

However, Aussies will try to give their best performance when they take the cricket field on Wednesday to make a statement.

The Indian team had also announced their 12-member squad for the opening T20I, declaring Rishabh Pant as the wicket-keeper for the game while Dinesh Karthik is set to occupy one of the outfield roles. In the Windies series, it was Karthik who took over the responsibility as a wicket-keeper while Pant was placed in the outfield.

India vs Australia 1st T20I match will kick off from 1:20 pm IST. Half an hour before the toss will take place at 12:50 PM IST along with the playing XI announcements.
