Washington: Mark Zuckerberg, CEO and co-founder of Facebook has fired shots at Apple in his disagreement with the statements made by CEO Tim Cook about the online advertising, the bimzz reported.

Zuckerberg said that Apple’s products don’t care about its customers because they’re very expensive, and if they were cared about their customers, those products would be a lot cheaper.
He also said that this type of online advertising to sell Apple products is ridiculous. Last September, Apple CEO Tim Cook stated that Facebook’s and Google’s users are actually “the product” since their data is helping the company make money.
While, in an interview with Time Magazine, Zuckerberg said: “A frustration I have is that a lot of people increasingly seem to equate an advertising business model with somehow being out of alignment with your customers.”
He also said: “I think it’s the most ridiculous concept. What, you think because you’re paying Apple that you’re somehow in alignment with them? If you were in alignment with them, then they’d make their products a lot cheaper!”
