Machilipatnam: The Machilipatnam Court issued summons to KCR, the Chief Minister of Telangana. He was asked to attend the court on July 21, by the honourable judge. Responding to the petition filed by Phani Kumar mentioning that KCR has humiliated Andhra Brahmins, the arguments were heard by the judge. Later, the honourable judge issued summons to KCR. The petition was filed as early as on April 6, 2011. KCR was asked to give the answer at an earlier instant. Nevertheless, KCR didn’t respond. The petitioner demands for an apology from KCR, apart from taking his words back. According to sources, KCR may not attend the court in person. Nevertheless, his lawyer may attend the court on his behalf.

It is evident that KCR has made the comments on the said date that Andhra Brahmins show off more than required whereas the Telangana Brahmins offer prayers with utmost dedication. The same was opposed by the Andhra Brahmins severely and Phani Kumar has approached the court. During that time many comments were making rounds that KCR wanted to get political mileage out of those comments.
