KCR, who is a staunch believer in astrology and vastu, was unwilling to shift to the official building which was constructed during the time of YS Rajasekhara Reddy and instead scouted for suitable place in Kundanbagh. Three bungalows were selected for the purpose and KCR even performed puja in the new buildings but later felt that it was not suitable as it was small in area and also was posing logistics problems.
After consulting vastu experts, KCR decided that he would only occupy the residential building which would double as his camp office. On Sunday morning, KCR performed puja and yagnam in the new house. The Chief Minister along with his family members, including K T Rama Rao and daughter K Kavitha will stay in the new house.
