Hyderabad: The draft guidelines to be adopted for the employees of the state government of erstwhile unite Andhra Pradesh would be made public on Saturday. The same has been delayed by one day as the signatures of Rajiv Sharma, the Telangana state Chief Secretary, and Nagi Reddy, the Finance Secretary, could not be obtained on Friday.

The guidelines for the division of employees of the state cadre between the states have already been made ready even before Friday. Though it was decided to announce on Friday, of the total 8 members, the mentioned two members were not present in Hyderabad to sign the draft report.

It is likely that the exemption given to those who are about to retire in coming two years is likely to be dragged into another problem. The reason for the same is the decision taken by the Andhra Pradesh government to increase the retirement age by 2 yrs from existing 58 yrs making it 60yrs. If the exemption is to be given, for Andhra employees it should be 58yrs and for Telangana it should be 56yrs. From the other end, there are already many issues concerned with the nativity problems of few employees. What the draft guidelines would suggest is a matter of anxiety for many, in view of all these critical issues.
