Hyderabad: In a bid to substantiate the fears raised over the intensive household survey by the opposition, the Telangana State TDP on Saturday released a video footage allegedly containing the comments by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's Public Relations Officer (PRO) Vijay.

The PRO was said to have commented that the survey was intended to pin down students and government employees belonging to AP on their nativity. Making public the video at a press conference at NTR Trust Bhavan here, TDP leader V Narendar Reddy said “the comments made by the PRO in the footage have clearly exposed the motive behind taking up the survey in Telangana.”

The footage, he claimed, was recorded by a scribe during interaction with the PRO. "To shunt out the AP people, the survey is being organised by KCR government," were the comments recorded in the video, Reddy said.

Coming down heavily on the KCR's government for the hidden agenda in the conduct of the survey, the TDP leader expressed astonishment as to how the government would compile the whole data of all people in a day when the Union government itself took months to complete the census. He alleged that KCR was trying to impose a dictatorial rule on Telangana.
