Even before it has become musty that Tummala Nageshwara Rao of TDP has joined TRS, the Telugu Desam Party received yet another blow with the resignation of Veneppalli Chander Rao, an Ex-MLA of TDP, who represented Kodad constituency. He will be joining TRS Party along with his supporters in the presence of KCR, the Chief of TRS Party, on September 5.
TRS party is in high demand in the state. The leaders of TDP have been bent to the situation of alleged anti-Telangana decisions being taken by Chandrababu Naidu, the Telugu Desam Party Chief, and are joining TRS party, considering the same as the best option.
Like Tummala Nageshwara Rao for Khammam district, Veneppalli Chander Rao is for Nalgonda. With the resignation of the Venepalli, there are chances that other prominent leaders may also take on the same path causing a threat to the existence of the party in the state.
