Speaking to the media, during a tour of the district, he said the government has planned to a set up a steel plant at Bayyaram. He claimed that the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) would emerge stronger in the district with several leaders of the Telugu Desam, Congress and YSRC parties joining it. The Khammam district TRS leaders accorded a warm welcome to Etela.
