Top priority to law & order: Naini

• Police set-up to be taken closer to people
• More police stations for women in districts

Nalgonda: The Telangana State government would accord top priority to maintenance of law and order, Home Minister Naini Narasimha Reddy said here on Thursday. Interacting with the media, here, during a tour of Nalgonda district, he said the police set-up would be taken closer to the people in the name of ‘Praja Police’. The minister stated that the government was committed to the welfare of women. For this women’s police stations in every district would be increased. Reddy reiterated the government’s resolve to nab the absconding naxal Nayeem, ‘wherever he is’. He described the alleged hired assassin as the ‘most wanted criminal’.
