Hyderabad: Telangana Employees JAC Chairman G Deviprasad has warned a sit-in protest in front of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s house if he does not co-operate for smooth division of government employees between two states.

Speaking at a round-table on 'Employees distribution-guidelines’ organised here by Group-1 Officers Association, he took objections to few provisions in final guidelines of C R Kamalanathan committee. This, he said, would be brought to the notice of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao soon so that he would intervene into the issue.

“Distribution of employees should not be confined just to HoDs, Secretariat but it should be taken up even in district, zonal, and multi-zonal posts, where there is a sizable presence of Seemandhra natives,” he stressed.

Speaking earlier Chandrashekar Goud, president of Group-1 Officers Association, was highly critical of 18 (f) provision in Kamalanathan guidelines. While TS government had come forward to create supernumerary posts, AP CM Naidu was not forthcoming on this issue, he lamented.

“After separation, each family should lead their life on their own. However, attitude of AP government towards TS is like you should take care of not only your children but also our children,” he said.

Telangana Udyogula Sangham leader Mamidi Narayana emphasised on mounting pressure on TS CM to intervene and send a clear message to AP government about relocation of employees to their native state at the earliest.

TNGO general secretary Karem Ravinder Reddy felt that nothing was impossible if employees raised a banner of revolt. He said they were getting huge support for the proposed Chalo Delhi programme to mount pressure on Union government to expedite division of employees.

Transport Department Technical Officers Association leader P Ravinder Kumar sought clarification on nativity rule, which he felt was ambiguous.

Meanwhile, the meeting adopted few resolutions which include government employees should work in their native state, division of employees in district, zonal and multi-zonal posts among others.
