Hyderabad: The BJP has set upon Mission-7 for 2019 General Election to emerge as a major political force not only in Telangana but also in Andhra Pradesh. Expressing this at a press conference her on Monday, Telangana BJP president G Kishan Reddy said the party had already started working out strategies in this direction and that party national president Amit Shah would be visiting Telangana in January to meet the rank and file.

Kishan Reddy appealed to the State government to participate in “Swachh Bharat” prograrmme being organized in the State on December 25 on the occasion of the birthday of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He said his party would be organizing various programmes, including blood donation camps, on that day.

Kishan Reddy appealed to the party workers to participate in the membership campaign beginning on December 24. Over 6,000 active members of the party would start enrolling people as party members in mandals and villages. The membership drive would be completed by January 10, he added.

He urged women in Telangana to spread the message of “Swachh Bharat” in their “Moggu” on the day of Makara Sankranti festival. He also questioned the TRS government as to why it was delaying GHMC elections. He urged the government to conduct GHMC and Warangal municipal corporation elections immediately.
