A day after the government allocated staff to the TSPSC, the commission has constituted a 26-member committee with leading intellectuals and experts in the different fields to review and revise the existing scheme and syllabus for various recruitments under its umbrella. .

The committee will have a chairman and will be headed by retired Central University Prof G Haragopal. Prominent members of the committee are Prof E Siva Reddy, Vice-Chancellor, Telugu University, Dr Chukka Ramaiah, educationist, Prof M Kodandarami Reddy, Osmania Univeristy, Prof K Nageshwar, Osmania University, Prof. Rama Melkote, Retd Professor, Osmania University, Prof S Mallesh, Vice-Chairman, State Council of Higher Education, Prof Beena, Retd Professor, Osmania University, Prof C. Ganesh, Coordinator, APCET, Dr Nishanth Dongari, IIT, Hyderabad.

The constituted committee will have to submit their recommendations on the existing scheme and syllabus in a week or two. Meanwhile, in order to curtail the delay in issuing the notification, the commission is simultaneously seeking number of job vacancies from the various government departments.
