Bar Association on relay hunger strike
The Bar Association of Ranga Reddy District Court organised a protest and began relay hunger strike against issuing fresh notification and circular of schedule of examination of junior civil judges without disclosing separate share of posts for Telangana.
Hyderabad: The Bar Association of Ranga Reddy District Court organised a protest and began relay hunger strike against issuing fresh notification and circular of schedule of examination of junior civil judges without disclosing separate share of posts for Telangana. They abstained from work on Monday.
Demanding separate share of posts, the Bar Association felt that issuing notification even before the division of High Court was a clear case of injustice. The Bar Association which has been demanding separate High Courts for AP and Telangana will be organising programmes like Vanta Varpu, series of dharnas and formation of human chains in the coming days. The programme was attended by K Raj Reddy, president, Bar Association Ranga Reddy District Courts, Narsing Rao of Public Prosecutors’ Association and scores of others.
