Participating in the condolence cum memorial meeting of late senior journalist Hari Prasad, of Andhra Prabha at Somajiguda Press club today KTR said both CM KCR and the TRS government were committed for the well being of the journalist community which had thrown its full morel strength and support behind the Telangana movement from the beginning.
TRS government has already granted Rs.10 crore for journalist welfare activities and if need be it will grant more funds but he appealed to the journalist community leaders to come with any ambitious programs for development and welfare of the community .
KTR urged the scribes at the Somajiguda press club to treat him as one of them and their brother and come to him if they had any issues to be resolved by the government. He offered that the Telangana government will shoulder the expenses of education of children of Hariprasad, besides providing other benefits to the family like house, job and also financial support .
