Khammam: Concerned over touts attempting to lure candidates into a fake recruitment net, the Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) has appealed to the aspirants not to believe the persons who promise ‘help’ for money.

The SCCL management has made this announcement on Tuesday as a precautionary measure after they came to know about some people posing themselves as highly influenced or part of selection process were striking deals with the job aspirants, in view of job notification issued recently and many to follow in the near future.

C. Mallaiah Pantulu, the general manager (personnel) and the official spokesperson of the SCCL, said that unscrupulous elements are exploiting the candidates by promising selection and trying to extract huge amount from them.

“The recruitment will be made purely on the basis of merit by following fool-proof procedures which do not enable any one to influence the selection process,” he said, adding that the merit list of the candidates will be released on the day of the exam itself besides placing it on the company’s website.

The candidates are requested to complain to the SCCL management if they have any specific information about the middlemen approaching them with promise to secure jobs, the official said.
