Is Andhra Pradesh a third class state and its chief minister Chandrababu Naidu a copy cat with no original ideas? Well, the Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao thinks so. He has been lashing out at Chandrababu Naidu from the day the state was bifurcated and he has not spared the TDP chief in no less volume of criticism whenever an occasion arose.

His recent comment that Chandrababu babu Naidu is a copy cat stems from the fact that while implementing the PRC for state government employees, the AP government also gave a 43 % fitment same as that of Telangana. Sources in the AP CMO say that the AP government had no alternative as they had to concede 43% as against 47 % demanded by AP NGOs in spite of critical finances.

But Chandrababu Naidu had made it clear to APNGO leaders that they should be ready for sacrifices in building of the new state capital and other infrastructure. That is the Secretariat staff have to come down to Vijayawada and live in temporary quarters etc

KCR's other comment that AP is a third class state comes from the latest statistics of growth that GDP of Telengana was 40.6 % as against 22.5 % of AP and as such its ranking. But little does KCR realize that minus Hyderabad and RR dist, Telangana was a big zero AP is a third class state and its no match to us. Telangana is emerging as a No.1 State and its growth is on par with Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Kerala, he says .

But the latest stats also show that with even the 25 % of the infrastructure investment projected ( 4 lakh crore ) is released, AP will be far ahead of Telangana
