Nizamabad: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MLC Arikela Narsa Reddy on Wednesday alleged that the TRS government was merely issuing statements on welfare schemes without fulfilling them.
Speaking to the media at the party office here, Narsa Reddy demanded that the government allocate more funds for Nizamabad district in the ensuing budget.
The TDP leader said 3.5 lakh acres could be brought under cultivation in the district if Pranahita-Chevella project was completed.
He also demanded the government to exert pressure on the Central government for completion of railway line between Peddapalli and Nizamabad.
