Isolated rain forecast in Telangana Sirpur receives 8 cm rainfall

Hyderabad: Sirpur in Adilabad district received eight cm rainfall on Sunday, while there was seven cm rain each in Vikarabad and Marpalle. The other chief amounts of rainfall (in cm) were: Sangareddy, Mominpet, Birkoor, Kosgi 6 each, Tandur, Banswada, Sadasivanagar 5 each, Medak, Sarangapur, Peddemul, Jukkal, Nagareddipet and Dharmapuri 4 each. The Met office on Monday forecast isolated rain or thundershowers in Telangana and Coastal Andhra Pradesh on March 10 and isolated rain or thundershowers in Telangana the next day. On Sunday, the maximum temperature was below normal at one or two places in Telangana. Anantapur and Nandyal recorded the highest maximum temperature of 37 degrees Celsius in Andhra Pradesh. The minimum temperature markedly fell at one or two places in Telangana, appreciably fell at one or two places in rest of Telangana and fell at one or two places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh. It was above normal at a few places in Rayalaseema and at one or two places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh.
