New Delhi: Telangana Minister Indrakaran Reddy met the Union Law & Justice Minister Sadananda Gowda and reiterated the TRS government’s demand for the speedy bifurcation of the High Court of Judicature in Hyderabad which currently functions as the High Court for both the Telugu states.He said how the state government can implement the judicial reforms and the methods to strengthen to the judicial system in the state when the High Court was not bifurcated.

Talking to the media he hoped that the Chandra Babu Naidu government will not put roadblocks to its bifurcation and the AP Chief Minister will honour his words. Chandra Babu Naidu told the media on Sunday that the state government was preparing a roadmap for the establishment of the High Court in the new capital of Amaravati in residuary Andhra Pradesh and it will be ready by June.

This was the first time that the Telangana State was represented at the Conference of the Chief Ministers of the States and Chief Justices of the High Courts organized by the Ministry of Law and Justice as it was formed only last year.

Participating in the conference, Indrakaran Reddy said that the state government was contributing its share of 25% of the total funds for the establishment of the infrastructure in the subordinate courts and for the High Court. He made it clear that the TRS government is in concurrence with the High Court’s view on the establishment of All India Judicial Services and considering to establish 38 Fast Track courts in the state in addition to establish separate courts for women and children.

Indrakaran Reddy informed the conference that the state government had created Telangana Legal Services Authority and sanctioned one post of Member Secretary along with the supporting staff. Indrakaran Reddy was accompanied by the Telangana State’s special representative Venugopala Chary to the conference and when he met Sadanand Gowda.
