Vanasthalipuram boy pays with life for gully cricket

A six-year-old boy was killed at Vanasthalipuram in Hyderabad while playing gully cricket this morning.

The boys were playing a game of cricket at a school play ground as an activity to spend their summer vacations.

The boy Vamshi collapsed after a ball hit his head. He was declared dead when he was rushed to Osmania Hospital. This is the second casualty on cricket grounds this season closely on the heels of a first class cricket player of West Bengal collapsing during field practice in Kolkata a few days ago.
