Karimnagar: Finance Minister, Eatala Rajender said that the state government was striving hard to transform the living conditions of the poor. Earlier governments, neglected the welfare of common people and overlooked their problems, but Telangana government was committed for the upliftment of the poor and downtrodden

The Finance Minister started the restoration works of village tank taken up at a cost of Rs 1.41 crore under Mission Kakatiya programme at Gattubuthkur village on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, Rajender said that every month, Rs five lakh amount has been distributed towards pensions in the villages alone, he informed.

BPT fine variety rice has been supplied to provide food to 40 lakh students in the state. Stating that the government has overcome power crisis, he said there was no power cuts in rural areas and nine hours power would be supplied to farmers even during the day time from the next year onwards.


Each and every village in the state would get safe drinking water once the prestigious Water Grid scheme gets completed. All the eligible persons would be provided ration cards and pensions, he assured.
