According to vaastu experts and a senior leader from Mahbubnagar, the main reason behind Revanth Reddy walking into the trap was vaastu.

it is learnt that just two weeks before the entire episode happened, Revanth Reddy shifted to a new house near Peddamma temple. Vaastu Experts have made it clear that his new residence is not Vaastu compliant. But Revanth Reddy paid no heed to their requests. Given that his old house was too small to hold his daughter's engagement ceremony, Revanth wanted to move into a much spacious house.

Now, the Vaastu experts say that bad vaastu made Revanth Reddy walk into the trap.
