TS RTC employees union will strive for workers welfare

The Employees Union of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) will always be in forefront to solve the workers’ problems, said TS-RTC Employees Union state secretary R V N Reddy. A meeting was held with the workers of Sattupalli TS-RTC here at Sattupalli bus depot in Khammam district on Sunday.
R V N Reddy, the chief guest of the meeting, said that workers faced multitude of problems since decades under Mazdoor Union, but the Employees Union, immediately after coming to power, had solved many problems of the workers. ‘We are successful in regularising the contract workers.
There is not a single contract worker in TS-RTC now,’ he added. He further said that they successfully introduced ‘Bread Winner’ scheme, under which a family member would get a job if the RTC workers die accidentally. ‘We also achieved 44 per cent of fitment to workers. If workers continue their support to the Employees Union in the next upcoming elections also, then we definitely work hard for their welfare in future also,’ he added.
TS-RTC district secretary P Appa Rao, Sattupalli regional representatives Bhupal, Sattupalli depot secretary Ranga Rao, Thirupathaiah, R Bal Rao, Edukondalu and Hanmanth Rao were present along with others.
