The Telangana Information and Public Relations department has announced the winners of photography competitions in three categories i.e Bangaru Telangana, Telangana Festivals and Photo Journalism. The jury comprising Prof S Pradeep Kumar, JNAFAU, reputed photographers Bharat Bhushan and D Ravinder Reddy adjudged 1,200 entries from 200 photographers across the State.

Hyderabad: The Telangana Information and Public Relations department has announced the winners of photography competitions in three categories i.e Bangaru Telangana, Telangana Festivals and Photo Journalism. The jury comprising Prof S Pradeep Kumar, JNAFAU, reputed photographers Bharat Bhushan and D Ravinder Reddy adjudged 1,200 entries from 200 photographers across the State.
Two photographers from Hyderabad K Ramesh Babu and V Vinod Babu bagged the first prizes in Bangaru Telangana and Telangana Festival categories respectively and A Upendra Chary of Khammam got the first prize in the Photo Journalism category. The department also announced the second, the third and consolation prizes in the three categories. The first prize winners will get Rs 15,000.
