Govt constitutes study circle for differently abled
On the lines of study circles established separately for the poor BC,SC,ST and Minority communities, the Telangana government on Tuesday gave its nod to open a study circle for the differently-abled. With this, the differently-abled persons can have the opportunity to prepare for competitive exams, including civil services and state-sponsored group services free of cost.

The officials of the Department of Women, Children, Disabled and Senior Citizens informed that a three-member committee had also been constituted for the selection of persons and training institutes. The department's Director would be Chairman of the Committee. Deputy Secretary to the department and Telangana Vikalangula Co-operative Corporation (TVCC) Managing Director would be the member of the committee.
The officials said the members selected through an exam would be provided regular training in their chosen subjects apart from boarding facility free of cost. The posts allocated exclusively for the disabled persons in the group services in the TS government would be given special training.
Training centres would also offer training in civil service exams to the interested candidates. Initially, the study circle would provide training in the State capital. Depending on the response from the enthusiastic persons, new study circles would be opened in the districts next year, the officials said, adding that the training would be provided both in English and Telugu media to the selected candidates.
