Agriculture Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy informed that the Telangana government would announce drought-hit mandals shortly. Assuring that the farm loans would be waived during this financial year, the Minister said that the delay occured as the RBI imposed FRBM norms but added that Rs 8000 crore farm loans would be waived soon.
Pocharam Srinivas Reddy said that the state government is making massive preparations for world seeds conference and stated that Telangana state would be the seed bowl for the entire world.
