TGOs, other outfits put off Mahadharna

Hyderabad: The Mahadharna planned by Telangana Gazetted Officers Association (TGOs) and a few other employee associations on Wednesday, November 4, has been put off after assurance by the Chief Secretary, Dr Rajiv Sharma, to look into their issues. An employee delegation, led by TGO honorary chairman and Mahbubnagar MLA V Srinivas Goud, met the Chief Secretary in this regard at Secretariat on Tuesday.

The delegation submitted a memorandum and urged the CS to take steps to ensure bifurcation formalities, including completion of allocation of staff between two States, according to Kamalanathan panel, at the earliest.

Meanwhile, the TNGOs Mahadharna planned for November 6 in protest against the Kamalanathan panel for prolonging the distribution of employees is likely to be called off. TNGO central union is expected to make an announcement in this regard on Wednesday.
