Nizam college suspends two students for ragging

Hyderabad: The Nizam College has suspended two final students belonging to Arts major for ragging Everest conqueror S Anand Kumar of BA first year in the same college.

The College set up an inquiry committee to probe ragging allegation against two students Bharat Kumar and Mohanlal. The committee in the report submitted said that final year students used offensive language and misbehaved with Anand. It took a decision to suspend the two students for 10 days.

While there were rumours that Osmania University Registrar Prof E Suresh Kumar removed Nizam College Principal Prof T L N Swamy from the post over the ragging issue, Suresh Kumar confirmed that Swamy was not removed from the post but two students were suspended.
