Warangal: The district TDP on Monday received a blow with the senior leader and official spokesperson Dommati Sambaiah quitting the party.

Speaking to press persons at his residence in Hanamkonda, Sambaiah said he had sent his resignation letter to party national president N Chandrababu Naidu and Telangana party president L Ramana and its working president A Revanth Reddy.

A feudal-minded leader from the district has been playing a key role at state-level and resorting to covert politics and this has forced him to quit the party, he said with an indirect reference to TDLP leader E Dayakar Rao.

Because of the subversive acts of that leader a TDP leader was imprisoned, Sambaiah said with reference to Revanth Reddy’s episode.

“Everyone in the party, including the party high command, knows about covert acts of this feudal lord but none cared to contain him,” he alleged.
