Haj season begins application forms released
The Haj season - 2016 has begun with the release of Haj application forms at Haj House, Nampally, here on Thursday. Aspirants can apply till February 8.
Hyderabad: The Haj season - 2016 has begun with the release of Haj application forms at Haj House, Nampally, here on Thursday. Aspirants can apply till February 8. While releasing the forms, ACB Director General A K Khan said that this year Haj was scheduled on September 10 and advised the intending pilgrims to take care of their health and start practice walking up to five kilometers a day.
He also advised the pilgrims not to fall prey to private tour operators and asked them to ensure their genuineness and quota allotted to them by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He said every year hundreds of gullible pilgrims were duped by these agencies. Hence the people should obtain receipt for the amount paid to them so that action could be taken against the culprits.
