GHMC polls: 90 divisions for TDP, 60 for BJP

Finally, the TDP-BJP combine have come to a broad understanding over sharing of seats for the GHMC elections. The TDP will contest in 90 divisions, while the BJP will field candidates in 60 divisions.

The TDP and BJP leaders will announce it in the afternoon and the BJP is expected to finalise the names of candidates by this evening.According to sources, the TDP is consulting several leaders before selecting the candidates.

They are expected to announce the names in a day or two. The TDP has got majority of divisions from Serlingampally, LB Nagar and Vanasthalipuram where TDP has a strong base.
