GHMC polls: No 'NOTA' option

Unilike the general elections, there will be no NOTA option in the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) for the GHMC elections which will be held on February 2.

According to District Election Officer and GHMC commissioner B Janardhan Reddy, as many as 16 candidates are in the fray in 5 wards and four members are only contesting from eight wards.
Total polling stations: 7,802
Auxiliary polling stations: 45
Total voters under the GHMC limits: 74,23,980
Voter slips distributed so far: 13.87 lakh
