Two cities have managed to find a place in the first 20 ‘smart Cities’ list that was released by the Union Urban Development Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu on Thursday.

Surprisingly, None of the cities from the newly formed Telangana state was included in the state and this has disappointed Telangana Chief Minister KCR.

Showing the smart cities list to the media, the Telangana CM said that not even one city from Telangana had found its place in the list. "The Centre's attitude towards Telangana hurts the sentiments of people. Did the crow take away Telangana?” he asked.

Criticizing Venkiah Naidu over depriving smart city struts to Telangana towns, KCR asked “What package did Venkaiah Naidu give to Telangana? Where did the leak take place?”

Taking pot spots at AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, KCR asked “Who will believe Chandrababu’s words on developing Hyderabad now as he could not do in his nine-year rule.

Responding to the Rohith Vemula’s suicide, KCR asserted that action must be taken against those responsible for his death.
