
Meghalaya Minister for Environment and Forest Prestone Tynsong and Principal Secretary to Forest and Environment visited Nehru Zoological Park in Hyderabad on Saturday. He visited the Tiger, Lion, Cheetah, Hippo, Rhino, Reptile house, Nocturnal Animal House and Mouse Deer breeding centre.
Hyderabad: Meghalaya Minister for Environment and Forest Prestone Tynsong and Principal Secretary to Forest and Environment visited Nehru Zoological Park in Hyderabad on Saturday. He visited the Tiger, Lion, Cheetah, Hippo, Rhino, Reptile house, Nocturnal Animal House and Mouse Deer breeding centre.
He said that the Nehru Zoological Park was well maintained and the visit was enriching and would help the Meghalaya government in preparing a blue print for the zoo. The Nehru Zoological Park is ranked as one among the best five zoos in the country and is spread over 380 acres.G Chandrasekhara Reddy, zoo director and Subhadra Devi, zoo curator, briefed the Meghalaya delegation on the projects undertaken at the zoo.
